The Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club Race Weekend, August 29th/30th 2020.
No nonsense, affordable racing for everyone. Flow style racing, 4 stages, any order, as many times as you want. Not all stages are compulsory, race what you want.
People must stay at home if unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath. If you choose not to attend we will offer a full refund.
Event Village will be located at the main trail head at the start of the Commonwealth Games Loop1.
Junior Trails – 2 timed stages, easy, suitable for new little riders
u11 Juniors (aged 7yrs – 10yrs)
Development Trails – 3 timed stages, 2 as per Juniors plus 1 Senior Trail (non-compulsory)
u13 Development (aged 11yrs – 12yrs)
Senior Trails – 4 timed stages, old Nerang Favourites
u15, u17, Elite, Expert, Sport, Masters 1-4, Masters 5+, ebike

$20 Adults / $5 kids (u11/u13)

Riders that do not currently hold a race membership will need to purchase a day license.
u11, u13, u15, u17, u19, Elite, Sport, Masters 1-4, Masters 5+, ebike
Racing will be ‘flow’ format. There will be up to 4 separate stages, depending on category. Not all stages are compulsory. Riders can ride their stages in any order as many times as they want. Liaison between stages can be as relaxed as you like.
Full face helmet is not required but highly recommended.
17 years and below it is recommended they wear knee pads and elbowpads (or long sleeve shirt)
Prizes and Giveaways
The biggest prize is to be on top of the podium. Prizes will be basic but if you’re there for the prize money, suggest you look elsewhere.

Do I need to be a GCMTB Club Member?
No. You don’t need to be a club member to participate in our events. But it would be cool if you were! Sign up here.
Do I need to be a MTBA Member?
Event registration is done via MTBA. If you are not a member you will have to pay for a day licence for the event.
Can I register on the day?
No. On the day entries will not be available. Assure you register online prior to registrations closing.
