Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club present 2 DAYS of GE racing for the 2022 Qld GE State Championships. Follow our facebook page for updates. GCMTB would like to thank the City of Gold Coast, Just Ride Nerang & Shredding Trails for supporting the event.
There will be a Pro Stage Saturday afternoon, followed by regular Stages on Sunday in Nerang National Park. Riders will be able to collect race plates on Friday at the Gold Coast Cycle Centre from 10am – 12 pm with Official practice for regular Stages from 10am – 2pm Friday.
The Pro Stage location is Old Tambo, 7 Wongawallan Rd, Wongawallan . Saturday registration will be open from 8 – 10am, with Official Practice for the Pro Stage from 8am – 12pm. Saturday racing Starts at 1pm.
Parking for Saturday will be at Welch Pioneer Park, 881 Tamborine Oxenford Rd, Wongawallan. Please Drop off riders and equipment at the bottom Old Tambo gate then head to the parking area. We’d encourage car pooling to limit disruption to local residents so we have continue to hold racing at this venue.
On Sunday, racing for regular Stages at Nerang starts a 9am.
Full face helmets are required due to the nature of the Old Tambo Pro Stage and one of the stages at Nerang. PPE as per AusCycling Technical Regulations for your Category.
Racing is single run format in order and mandatory liaisons. Categories will be split in to waves for a staggered start on Sunday.
u13 & u15 will run full course.
Categories will be split into ‘Waves’ for staggered starts each day, these will be published once online entries are complete.
