12-17 year olds unite!
Mountain biking can be a difficult sport for kids to get together to do. Our Young Gun Rides brings them together so they can learn from one another and push there limits under the supervision of adults.
12-17 year olds with begineer/intermediate skills with the fitness to cover 10-15kms in 2 hours.
2pm-4pm, Last Saturday of every month. 1:45 meet for 2pm roll out.
Hope Street, Nerang. Meet at the GCMTB Container located next to the toilet block at the Velodrome.
Join us for our monthly GCMTB Young Guns Social Ride. This ride is for our intermediate youth riders (12+ years of age) who want to explore further and are capable of riding a mixture of Blue (intermediate grade) & Green (beginner grade) trails building up their confidence riding with several experienced members of the club.
Equipment : Mountain bike with off road tyres, safety gear and water

Do I need to be a GCMTB Club Member?
No. You don’t need to be a club member to join our social rides. But it would be cool if you were! Sign up here.
Do I need to be a Mountain Bike Australia Member?
It is our preference that you are an MTBA Member or have a MTBA Recreation Day Licence but you can still participate without.
Will my Cycling Australia or Bicycle Queensland membership cover me?
Typically yes, however it is your responsibility to understand what your membership provides in terms of insurance cover. You will also be required to sign a waiver.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
If you are not a member of MTBA or have an MTBA Recreation Day Licence you will need to read and sign a waiver prior to participating in a GCMTB Club Social Ride. The waiver will be issued to you by the ride leader.
